Going out of town and need a place for your pet to day? Why not let them stay at Clearwater Animal Hospital, their home away from home. When your pet stays with us, they will receive a variety of amenities including:
- Walks three times a day
- Food (Hill’s Maintenance Diet)
- Separate boarding sections for dogs and cats
- Litter provided for cats
Dentistry is one of the most important aspects of veterinary health. We perform thorough dental checks with each one of our physical examinations, and depending on our findings, we may recommend professional dental cleanings. Professional dentals include the removal of plague and tartar, and polishing of teeth. We also provide dental radiographs, as needed.
At Clearwater Animal Hospital, we provide a wide range of diagnostic services to help us identify your pet’s health condition. The quicker a diagnosis is made, the easier it will be to begin treatment. Some of our diagnostic tools include:
- Digital radiology
- Laboratory testing
- EKG (Electrocardiogram)
Does your pet need an updated look? We can help! We provide general grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, breed cuts, and more. All grooming guests are required to be up-to-date on the vaccinations.
We offer laser therapy for pain management and healing. Our Class IV Companion Laser uses a beam of laser light to penetrate tissue, stimulating healing. We often recommend utilizing laser therapy to treat a variety of acute conditions such as wounds, allergies, and inflammations, as well as chronic conditions such as degenerative joint disease, arthritis, and hip dysplasia.
The veterinary team at Clearwater Animal Hospital recommends microchipping for all pets. A microchip is an excellent means of ensuring that you and your pet are reunited in the event of a separation.
In keeping with our desire to provide complete veterinary care to our patients, we provide nutraceuticals as a treatment option for pets experiencing allergies, skin conditions, or other health concerns. We provide a variety of prescription diets, with Hill’s Prescription Diets being one of the most popular brands we prescribe.
Did you know that more than 50% of the pet population is considered to be overweight? We offer weight management counseling and dietary recommendations for you when your pet needs help managing their weight.
Have you lost a beloved companion? Our veterinary team understands how painful this can be and we are here to offer assistance. We can provide recommendations for grief counseling, if needed. Please contact us for information and we’ll be glad to help in any way we can.
Senior Pet Care
Senior pets require different levels of veterinary care than adult pets. As our senior pets begin to age, their bodies change, and they become more susceptible to age-related health conditions. We recommend twice-annual health checks and often more extensive diagnostics such as blood tests and urinalyses.
Spay and Neuter Services
The veterinary team at Clearwater Animal Hospital recommends that puppies and kittens be neutered and spayed around 6 months of age. The early procedure helps to offset future health conditions, such as mammary, uterine, or testicular cancer which may plague pets later in life. Our skilled surgeons provide exceptional spay and neuter services to our patients.
Our skilled veterinary surgeons are equipped to provide exceptional veterinary surgery services to our patients. In addition to basic soft tissue surgeries, we are also able to provide specialized surgery, including orthopedic surgeries. Our veterinary surgeries include complete anesthesia, surgical monitoring, and pre- and post-operative pain management.
We offer complete wellness plans for pets of all ages. For your pet’s safety, we recommend a variety of preventative treatments, including a customized vaccination schedule. We believe that every family member deserves quality preventive care. Our wellness plans offer vaccinations, spay & neuter, dentistry, unlimited free office visits and much more, all for an affordable low monthly payment!
